She loves this one. Finds the characters cute and the game play is a great puzzle variety. It is unfortunate that it is only local coop but it is nice to have such a great couch coop game that makes you work together to meet the objective. The gameplay is fairly simplistic with few mechanics but it does create some challenges as you go along. The achievements are all reasonable but not a piece of cake. There are 3 worlds that each have unique environments, with 28 stages total plus a bonus 28 mini-levels. The 28 stages each have 3 collectibles to be found, and the mini-stages each have 1 to unlock time trials that can be done on all 56 areas. There are very rare and minimal glitches in the game and the devs are responsive and supportive in the forums. It could probably use with a few more mechanics to provide greater variety but nonetheless is an enjoyable game that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for couch coop. tl;dr: "Checkepointah!"I was a bit skeptical at first, given the cute looks of the game. It comes off as a children's game at first.While that may be true, anyway, the game is simply great fun with a friend.The Putties are cute to the point of being comical, their facial expressions (often changing depending on what happens) are so extremely exaggerated you can't help but laugh.The gameplay, too, will have you constantly laughing as you swing around and get yourself and your partner "killed" - death is rather meaningless in the game, though, as the checkpoints are extremely frequent.If you're looking for a challenging game, this isn't it. But if you're looking to have some innocently cute/comical fun with a friend, go for it.. Putty Pals is a very casual co-op game. This isn't really a game for two gamers, you've seen pretty much the whole game in the first 30 minutes. There's a missed opportunity here, changing worlds and playing as two new putties was the perfect time to change out the trampoline/merge mechanics and replace/add new ones in. Instead, it's more of the same.I'll still recommend it as it's fun for a short time but if you consider yourself an experienced gamer couple, I'd pass.. Needed a coop game to play with my little girl, this is the right one. You can help the other player a lot if she struggles with the level.
